Five generations of winemakers who have cultivated the same vineyard sites in over a century and developed every characteristic and potential of the land where they have chosen to live and work.
At the very top of the slope, the family has their vineyard, where they also live permanently. They have 8.5 hectares of vineyards on the slopes below the vineyard. An incredibly beautiful environment that is well worth a visit for those who have the opportunity!
The Manzone family personally supervises every step of the process – from pruning to harvesting, from storage to packaging of each individual bottle. A proudly traditional and artisanal style that does not allow shortcuts, but respects nature's contribution to the wine to the fullest. Constant sensitivity to the vines and the bunches of grapes is followed by simple and genuine work in the cellar. An old-fashioned method that gives each grape variety full freedom to express itself according to the season and highlights their best qualities.
The grapes are harvested by hand, immediately transported to the cellar and vinified, leaving some of the grapes intact. A vinification process that takes advantage of the extraordinary characteristics of the vineyards of Castelletto, Gramolere and Bricat.
They strive to convey the characteristics of the soil and grapes, their purity and unique identity in each wine produced.
