Barbera Superiore "Regiaveja" 2022

Dark blackberry fruity taste, good complexity. Good Barbera

Bovios Barbera Superiore "Regiaveja" has a deep red color with violet hints. The aroma reveals notes of nuts and balsamic notes. The taste is very full-bodied but elegant, with a very long aftertaste thanks to the prominent acidity.

Bovio Winery's wines are always well-made and affordable and have therefore become a favorite for us.

Grape: 100% Barbera

Vinification and aging: Gentle crushing of the grapes.
Fermentation with indigenous yeast strains for approximately 10–15 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where regular pumping over is carried out to ensure optimal extraction of color and tannins from the grape skins. This is followed by racking and malolactic fermentation. The wine is then transferred to oak barrels of various sizes, where it is aged for approximately 12 months before bottling.
