Barolo "Arborina" 2020
Structure and elegance, darker fruit, long taste, suitable for storage.
Grape: 100% Nebbiolo
Vinification and aging: Gentle crushing of the grapes.
Fermentation with indigenous yeast strains for approximately 15 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where pumping over is done regularly to ensure optimal extraction of color and tannins from the grape skins. This is followed by a medium-long maceration using the submerged skin cap method. After racking and malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to oak barrels, where it is aged for 20–24 months. It is then transferred to concrete tanks to rest for a few months before bottling.
Sensory characteristics: Ruby red color with brick red hues. The aroma is fresh with hints of nuts and vanilla. The taste is soft, with elegant and persistent, sweet tannins.
Serving temperature: 16–17 °C
